Bigscreen Cinema Brings Paramount Pictures Movies to VR

The fine folks at Bigscreen Inc. have announced a partnership with Paramount Pictures to bring licensed movies to Bigscreen Cinema. This new venture will let you and your friends enjoy officially-licensed films in VR.

If you’re unfamiliar with Bigscreen, it’s more or less a free-to-play 3D movie theater that can be used to share whatever’s on the host’s desktop. This certainly has a lot of applications in the entertainment space, allowing people to watch videos of all sorts together or get a good laugh at one of their friends playing games. It could also, in theory, be used for running some kind of presentation — it is, after all, a 3D movie theater.

Now, Bigscreen Inc. has announced via the /r/Vive subreddit that they’re launching a brand-new feature called Bigscreen Cinema, the fruits of a multi-year partnership with Paramount Pictures.
