Ahead of its wide release later this month, Disgaea 4 Complete+ gets a demo for both North America and European fans on both Switch and PS4. The demo covers the first chapter of the full game, and progress carries over to the full release, which is set for October 29th. NIS America also put out a very meta trailer for the game, as two characters go over the “10 coolest things” found in Disgaea 4 Complete+, even as they star within the game. The demo for Disgaea 4 Complete+ is out now, and it launches for Switch and PS4 later this month, on October 29th.
Just announced at E3 earlier this year, the latest remaster of the classic zany strategy RPG series Disgaea sees yet another entry come to Switch. New to Disgaea 4 Complete+ is an increase in resolution to 1080p, turbo mode can be applied to skills, and a couple other of quality-of-life changes in this version. Overall, Complete Plus will see all characters from all previous versions of Disgaea 4 available, dual-audio options, skills and jobs coming over from Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited, new network features, and a number of functions available in Disgaea 5. All of the added content is designed to, unsurprisingly, make this version of Disgaea 4 the most complete yet.
One of the longest-running and most irreverent RPG franchises alongside Neptunia, the Disgaea games are loved for their quirky humor, incredible depth and length, and colorful cast of characters. Disgaea 4 was no different. Upon its original release, reviewers described it as “the most Disgaea since the original.” Curiously, NIS America is looking to put this second rerelease of Disgaea 4 on PC, as it has done with past rereleases. Still, more releases of classic strategy RPGs on the Switch is never a bad thing, and you can get your hands on Disgaea 4 Complete+ when it launches on October 29th.
