For Honor Gets Spooky For Halloween

Ubisoft has announced For Honor‘s Halloween event this year. Titled Fangs of the Otherworld, you’ll get a chance to do battle with monsters.

The event, which has already begun and will be running until November 1st, will feature a new game mode called Spooky Slashers. This mode is a twist on the usual Dominion mode. Monsters will be hanging out in the lanes and can only be killed by getting a bonus by capturing specific points on the map. You need to be careful as if you have a bonus when an enemy kills you then the bonus will transfer over to them and allow them to slay the monsters instead. This means you need to pay attention to both monsters and players, which is a pretty interesting change of pace.

Additionally, you’ll get the chance to earn some Halloween-themed items for your characters. Loot will drop randomly at the end of every match, and players have a chance to get some fun costumes, spooky weapons, and weird Halloween effects on all of their characters. Additionally, there are some special Halloween executions that you can earn for a limited time. While you can earn these spooky items in-game, you also have the chance to buy them. Halloween bundles will be sold for the price of 45,000 steel (that’s about $30) for each character. You have until November 4th to buy these spooky item bundles.

For Honor is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and is included as part of Ubisoft’s Uplay+ service. The Fangs of the Otherworld event will be running until November 1st.

Are you interested in giving this event a chance? Do you think Halloween is even that honorable? Are you going to go trick or treating as a For Honor character this year? Let us know in the comments below!
