Epic Games continues to iterate on its hit battle royale game Fortnite, and that carries on today with the release of its latest update, version 11.20. The new patch adds DirectX 12 support for PC players and much more.
The update, which is available now, also brings back Daily Challenges – you can select up to three at a time and can replace one with another on one occasion per day. Also included are new UI options, with a new contrast setting and an additional filter in the Locker that allows you to see your items depending on what Season they were added.
DirectX 12 support is also interesting; Epic merely states “players with high-end GPUs may experience a higher and steadier frame rate”, but it may also open the door for Fortnite to support ray-tracing in the future.
