Hitman 2 is still getting fun new content. IO Interactive has released the October roadmap for the game, and it shows off what the next batch of new and returning content will be.
It starts on October 3rd, with The Riviera Restoration escalation contract being added to the game. It’ll take place in Miami, and turn Agent 47 into “the worst medic in history.”
Following that, on October 10th we get another new escalation contract with The Divine Descedance, which will take place in Mumbai and require Agent 47 to kill the holy man. Completing this contract will give you the imperial classic suit with gloves, giving Agent 47 something snazzy to wear. IO notes that this was a reward for killing an elusive target in the past, but they decided not to put an elusive target in Mumbai, and so are making this reward for everyone in return.
October 11th sees The Warlord return to the game, hiding out in Bangkok. This elusive target was available before, and this is another chance to take her down for the 10 days she’s available. Doing so will net you the casual suit with gloves.
October 17th will put the highlight on the community, featuring player-created contracts with the theme of “trick or treat.” If you’re interested in submitting your own contract for the community highlight, then you can do so here.
October 22nd sees the biggest additions to Hitman 2. The first, and biggest, comes in the form of a special Halloween-themed escalation contract. IO Interactive promises it will be the “weirdest and probably scariest contract in Hitman 2.” However, IO is being tight-lipped on the details otherwise. They won’t say where it’ll take place, and only mention that it will give players “two unique unlocks”, but not what they’ll actually be. The good news is that this contract is a permanent addition to the game. In addition to this, the Legacy Challenge Pack Bundle will arrive on this day, featuring three unique challenges with three unique rewards. The Himmapan Horror challenge in Bangkok will net you the antique lethal syringe, the Master Scarecrow challenge in Colorado will get you a Tac-4 S/A Jungle, and the Master Vampire challenge in Paris will reward you with the all-new Modern Sedative Syringe.
On October 25 an all-new elusive target will be put into the game. The Serial Killer will be hiding out in Whittleton Creek, the first elusive target to do so, and bringing her down will nab you the suburban suit with driving gloves.
Finally, on the spooky day of October 31st comes the last batch of content. The Legacy Escalation Bundle sees both The Yuuma Tenacity mission in Hokkaido and The Eccleston Illumination mission in Sapienza return to the game. There’s also an all-new challenge taking place in Hawke’s Bay called Uninvited. In this challenge Agent, 47 will take on the role of a horror movie slasher-like villain known as “The Uninvited”, and have to crash a party to kill the guests. Completing the challenge will earn you the Red-Tie Kiwi squeaky toy, which you can use to distract people.
Hitman 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
