Quick Take

It’s always worth celebrating when a Steam Early Access game launches out of the program; because it shows that not all projects are abandoned. As goes with negative news getting more attention than positive news, it’s important to appreciate the developers fulfilling their promise. On top of that, Shortest Trip to Earth must be doing something right because it has “very positive” reviews according to Steam.

People and myself included will immediately see FTL vibes from this game and they’re not wrong to think it. The idea for Shortest Trip to Earth first started when the developer began designing it in 2010, two years before FTL There’s nothing wrong with seeing more great space simulator games.
