Russian Retail Chain Fined 1 Million Rubles After Employee Plays Death Stranding Early

Russian retail chain M.Video has been fined 1 million rubles ($15,666 est.), after a warehouse employee took a copy of Death Stranding home to play early. Russia Today and Game Rant report Sony issued the fine, after an employee took the game from stock, and played it an undisclosed number of days ahead of its release (prior to November 5th, with the game launching on November 8th on PlayStation 4).
