Perkins Coie, on behalf of The Pokemon Company International (TPCi), is claiming leaks of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have caused “irreparable injury” to the company, and that they are entitled to damages from the leakers. Whoever they are. Prior to the release of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, images from a then-unreleased strategy guide revealed several evolved and Gigantimaxed Pokemon- essentially revealing new Pokemon while Game Freak and TPCi were attempting to keep them a surprise for players. Fortnite is one of the biggest games in the world right now, so its only natural that companies looking to make a quick buck by producing knockoff merchandise.
